VMsources has been providing high-level backup and Infrastructure Management to Hexpol for almost 10 years. In that time, my colleagues and I have come to know and work with quite a few individuals who will be receiving this email. We look forward to getting to know the rest of you at the earliest as soon as possible!

 

In order to simplify the process of Backup and Restore, VMsources will now be the single-source backup provider to Hexpol. What that means is that all backups and restores are now managed through VMsources, and you no longer need to worry about consoles or credentials!

 

The first step will be scheduling a meeting for every site to review protection. We'll take a look at Veeam to make sure that everything that needs to be backed-up, is being backed-up.

 

From then on, you no longer need to worry about Veeam!

 

• Anytime you need a restore, just open a ticket with VMsources and we'll get right on it!
• Anytime you would like to add an item to backups, just open a ticket with VMsources.
  
• We'll send you monthly reports about the items which are being protected (Backed-up)

 

My team and I look forward wo working with all of you in this next-phase of protection (backup) for Hexpol. I am confident that we can help simplify all of your daily responsibilities just a little bit.

The following methods are listed in order of severity, with the least severe (Change Management) requests listed first and the most severe (Emergencies only) listed last.

 

1. First and most important

Opening a ticket is required to memorialize the issue. If you should call in directly by phone or send an email directly, a ticket will need to be opened to authorize VMsources to do anything.

What you can do to help:

1. Please reach out to VMsources to schedule an initial review of Protection (Backups)
2. If we don't hear from you, we'll be reaching out in the next couple of weeks
3. Every month, please review the Protection report for completeness and let us know if any items are missing or extras/obsolete items which need to be removed.
